Cathrine Hjulstad is an Analyst in the OECD’s Trends Shaping Education project at the Centre for Education Research and Innovation. On loan for two years from the Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training, she joined the Trends team in April. She previously taught languages and history in upper secondary school in Norway for 14 years. At the Directorate, she worked on assessment and digitalisation. In the OECD she has contributed to the Spotlight on Trust and the Community for Future-Fit Education, drawing on experience as both teacher and policy adviser. She is passionately engaged in advancing education to better support students and educators in a rapidly changing and uncertain future.
